Bang for the Buck Empty
PostSubject: Bang for the Buck   Bang for the Buck EmptyWed Feb 28, 2024 2:48 pm

Years and years ago, my (once big) church had a steady progression of ministry interns. It was certainly an inexpensive way to increase the staff, and served to prepare these young people for ministry. Times have changed, at least in the Rocky Mountains. What to do? Here's something that has worked out for us.

Our small church, which has one full-time pastor, now has a paid worship leader. She already has a full-time job in town, and jumped at the opportunity to lead...for $100 a week. Yes, for only $5000 a year, we have a paid worship leader, just like the mega-churches. And we're close to making the same offer for someone to be the children's ministry leader. Using this kind of a ministry model, what could your church do?
